Part of the Drexel Interiors program included a preschool re-design. The floor plan was designed and drafted in Auto CAD, built in Revit and rendered in Photoshop.

The concept for this design was to create the feeling of innocence through the interaction of soft curves. This idea was based upon concepts like purity and curiosity, as imagined by preschoolers: what lies around the bend?

Elements of a local Philadelphia park view were brought into the design through color palettes and material use.

Custom acoustical drop ceiling tiles were designed here to separate the classrooms from the open space above. Changes in floor materials are designed to distinguish the play areas vs learning spaces and quiet zones.
